Dr. Wei-Chen Tu received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the National Cheng Kung University in 2005, received her M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the National Ching Hua University in 2007, and received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University in 2012. She worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University (2017–2019). In 2019, she moved to the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, and worked as an Assistant Professor. Her research topics mainly include graphene and graphene-based composites, optical and electrical simulation of nanomaterials and nanodevices, photodetectors, solar cells, and nanoscience.
