Chaomin Luo received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, the M.Sc. degree in engineering systems and computing from the University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, Canada, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2008. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mississippi State University, Mississippi State, MS, USA. His research interests include robotics and autonomous systems, control, machine learning, and intelligent systems. Dr. Luo was the recipient of the Best Paper Award in IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation, the Best Paper Award in International Conference on Swarm Intelligence, and the Best Paper Presentation Award in SWORD Conference. He is currently an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Robotics and Automation, International Journal of Swarm Intelligence Research and IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems. He was an Associate Editor for 2019 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, and a Tutorials Co-Chair in 2020 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (SSCI).
