Léo Friedrich is a researcher in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics Group within the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Honors and Awards

PhD cum laude

On November 27th 2020, Léo Friedrich successfully defended his thesis entitled "Isogeometric analysis of eddy current problems" in front of a large panel of renowned experts in mathematics, physics, and from the industry. Following the recommendation of several other international experts, the members of his committee awarded him a doctoral degree, with the mention cum laude (with highest honor distinction), which is exceptionally given to the top 2-5% of the dissertations in the Netherlands.
