Prof. Elin Eriksen Odegaard

Professor Elin Eriksen Ødegaard is Director of Kindergarten Knowledge Centre for Systemic Research on Diversity and Sustainable Futures (KINDKNOW) at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway. She is a capacity builder with commitments to sustainability and equity with an impact on policy development. She commits to the World Organization for Early Childhood (OMEP). She has published extensively on how early childhood institutions create conditions for children’s play, exploration and cultural formation, where she pays attention to teachers and children’s collaboration.
