Wesley Angelino Souza is an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Technology Paraná (UTFPR) and a member of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE-CP), Cornélio Procópio campus, Brazil. Dr. Souza received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP); Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering of Bauru (FEB) at the São Paulo State University (UNESP); and Bachelor of Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences (FC) of Bauru at UNESP. He was a post-doctoral researcher at FEEC/UNICAMP, later at the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of São Carlos (DComp-So/UFSCar) and the Institute of Science and Technology of Sorocaba (ICTS/UNESP). He was a visiting researcher at the University of Padova (Università Degli Studi di Padova - UniPD), Italy. He has research interests in Embedded Systems, Electric Meters, Smart Meters, Digital Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Engineering, Data Science, Web Systems Development, and Low and High-Level Programming. He is a member of IEEE, SBA, and SBC.
