2018 -2021: PhD candidate studying evaporation in the Miombo Woodland, a natural forest in sub-Sahara Africa. The study involves field measurements of evaporation in the Miombo Forest using ATMOS 41 weather station and the distributed temperature sensing system (DTS). Team member of the ZAMSECUR Project whose focus is on observing and understanding the remote water resources for enhancing Water, Food and Energy Security in the Lower Zambezi Basin. 2014 - 2018: MSc candidate and part of the SASCAL Task 191 project team whose focus was establishing a water quality and quantity data base for western Zambia. Thesis was on application of remote sensing to estimate floodplain inundation. The focus was on understanding the Barotse Floodplain inundation dynamics and its interaction with discharge. 2007 - current: Senior Agricultural Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture in Zambia in southern Africa. Involves providing information on agronomy, water use and land management to farmers.
