Muchtaridi Muchtaridi is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Padjadjaran, West Java, Indonesia. His Ph.D. in Drug Design and Simulation was obtained from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University Sains Malaysia in 2013. He is also the Head of Advisory Board of West Java of the Indonesian Pharmacist Association, a Founder and Honorary Member of the Indonesian Society for Bioinformatic and Biodiversity Association (MABBI), and an Advisory Board Member of the Asian CADD (Computer-Aided Drug Design Association. His major research interests include natural product drug discovery including bio-guide assay isolation combining in silico, i.e., virtual screening and design against anti-breast cancer and anti-influenza. He also synthesizes radiopharmaceutical agents from natural product compounds. His current project is regarding the discovery of anti-influenza and anti-breast cancer drugs derived from natural products.
