Prof. Dr. Jinliang Wang is currently a professor in the Department of Geography at Yunnan Normal University. He received his bachelor's degree from Yunnan Normal University in 1986, his master's degree from Yunnan University in 1997, and his doctorate from Nanjing Normal University in 2001. Prof. Dr. Jinliang Wang was a visiting scholar at Chiba University, Japan, in 2005 and the Canadian Remote Sensing Center in 2006. In 2017, he went to the University of North Texas, USA, as a senior visiting scholar. He has been working at Yunnan Normal University since December 1992. In addition, Prof. Dr. Jinliang Wang is a director of the Chinese Natural Resources Society, a young and middle-aged academic and technical leader in Yunnan Province, and a member of the Yunnan Wetland Protection Expert Committee. He is mainly engaged in the application research of remote sensing technology in the field of resources and environment.
