Prof. Yu Wei received the B.A. degree in forest economics
and management from Hebei Agriculture University, China, in 1994, the M.A.
degree in forest economics and management from Beijing Forest University,
China, in 1997, and the M.S. degree in computer and information science and the
Ph.D. degree in natural resource management from the University of Minnesota,
in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department
of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship, Colorado State University, Fort Collins,
CO, USA. His research interests include forest systems analysis, wildland fire
decision support, operations research, GIS, and machine learning.
