Dr. Danyu Shen received his B.S. degree from Shenyang Agricultural University in 2009 and his Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology from the College of Plant Protection, Nanjing Agricultural University in 2014. He has served as an Assistant Researcher (2018.7–2018.12) and from 2019 to present, as an Associate Professor at the College of Plant Protection, Nanjing Agricultural University. He has chaired the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Upper-Level Program (32070139 and 32372493) and NSFC
Youth Program (31501589). His research interests include bioinformatics studies on the interactions between oomycetes and plants and the applications and fundamentals of biofumigation technology.
