Amir Azemati was born in Tehran, Iran in 1992. He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran, in 2014, an M. S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2016, and a Ph. D. degree in electrical from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2021. He has been working as a radar systems engineer at Aptiv since 2021. He was a recipient of the Viterbi graduate school fellowship award in 2014.
