Social network sites (SNSs) provide new avenues for self-expression and connectivity, and they have considerable potential to strengthen social capital and psychological well-being. SNSs have consequently become deeply rooted in people’s daily lives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, e-learning has become a dominant learning modality to maintain social distancing. Because of the excellent connectivity provided by Internet platforms, SNSs can be leveraged as collaborative learning tools to enhance learning performance. However, conflicts may emerge when extending the socializing function to learning; thus, this topic merits in-depth investigation. One potential reason for the conflicts is the various types of overload caused by the system features, information, communication, and social aspects that users experience, leading to negative emotional responses, such as social network fatigue. Although SNS overloads have been extensively studied, most of these studies were conducted from the perspective of SNSs as platforms for socializing, and the overloads were treated as linear and independent. We apply multi-criteria decision-making tools to bridge the research gaps. Specifically, we recruited 15 active Facebook learning community members as an expert panel under the saturation principle. After extensive pairwise comparisons between the primary constructs and further matrix calculations, our significant research findings include antecedents to social network fatigue and their causal effects, representing a valuable complement to conventional structural equation modeling–approaches. We also discuss the theoretical and practical implications of the study.

In recent years, organisations have used technology for customer relationship management and the evaluation of information technology needs to meet the benefits of organisations that are crucial. Software as a Service (SaaS) in cloud computing refers to a business model for customers to use applications hosted externally by the service provider via the internet. As an emerging SaaS, cloud customer relationship management (Cloud CRM) is even more appealing when compared to traditional technologies use in for small- and medium-sized businesses, which lack the resources to invest in their own hardware and software. Since the discipline of information systems concerns technology, organisations and people, all these aspects need to be properly aligned with each other to utilise the information technology adopted. This study seeks insights from the experienced users of cloud-based CRM systems to explore the critical factors and interrelationships that influence the realisation of organisational benefits when they are adopted. This study applies interactive qualitative analysis by focusing group data to explore the benefits of the realisation model for cloud-based CRM systems and identify the ease-of-use of the cloud-based CRM systems as a key factor in the affinity pair relationship. The study contributes useful guidelines and benefits for organisations to promote cloud-based CRM systems.

Electronic commerce (e-commerce) base on social networks marketing in the highly competitive environment that must improve service quality and customer loyalty to impact on their competitive advantage, which is most important. Therefore, this study will explore the different dimensions of service quality that affect the antecedents of customer loyalty and behaviour in electronic store (e-store). The framework of study is constructed based on the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) theory, wherein dimensions of service quality correspond to stimulus, antecedents of customer loyalty to an operation, and customer loyalty to response that explore the influence of the dimensions between. Our study found that: 1) the result of the DEMATEL-based ANP (DANP) research method shows that the service quality dimension of the quality of electronic services (QES) is a driving factor that affects the service quality dimensions of SERVQUAL, as well as the antecedents of customer loyalty and behaviour intention; 2) a customer's affective commitment can influence their satisfaction with a service.

Taiwan Plurkers on Education and Technology @Facebook (TPET) is Taiwan's largest and most popular Facebook-based virtual community and aims to provide a platform for teachers to exchange, discuss and share knowledge. Therefore, it is essential to investigate ways to facilitate active engagement behaviour of members to obtain benefits with the greatest potential. This study identifies information system (IS) characteristics as triggers to explore the dynamic and iterative nature of engagement behaviour by multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) analysis. Under the principle of a theoretical saturation, 14 active TPET members were interviewed in depth to investigate the dynamic relationship among dimensions and factors related to IS characteristics and engagement behaviour. The main findings can provide helpful guidance for TPET managers' decision-making regarding the enhancement of members' engagement behaviour and promotion of the sustainable development of the community, and ultimately improve the quality of teaching to create more innovative educational value for students.

Information systems (IS) continually motivate various improvements in the state-of-the-art of issues and solutions for advanced geo-information technologies in cloud computing. Reducing IS project risks and improving organizational performance has become an important issue. This study proposes a research framework, constructed from the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework, in order to address the issues comprising the stimulus of project risk, the organism of project management, and the response of organizational performance for cloud service solutions. Cloud customer relationship management (cloud CRM) experts, based on cloud computing, with many years of project management experience, were selected for the interview sample in this study. Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory–based analytical network process (DEMATEL based-ANP, DANP) is a multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) analysis tool that does not have prior assumptions and it was used to experience the dynamic relationships among project risk, project management, and organizational performance. The study results include three directions: (a) Improving the internal business process performance can improve the efficiency of cloud CRM project processes and activities; (b) The emphasis on financial performance management can reduce the cost of a cloud CRM project so that the project can be completed within the approved budget; (c) Meeting user needs can improve user risk and reduce negative cloud CRM user experience. The scientific value of this study can be extended in order to study different projects, through research methods and frameworks, in order to explore project risk management and corporate performance improvements.

Software as a Service (SaaS) foster customer relationship management (CRM). The benefits of CRM of cloud computing for an enterprise are identified by using appropriate qualitative methodologies, including means-end chain (MEC) and interpretive structural modeling (ISM) methods. This study elucidates the organizational benefits of CRM in this emerging field. This study focuses on the following objectives: (1) to understand the feasibility of applying cloud computing-based SaaS technology, (2) to explore the enterprise value of CRM services and introduce cloud computing technology to enterprises.

Ecological degradation is an escalating global threat. Despite these environmental concerns, efforts to raise environmental behavior appear unsuccessful as degradation of the environment continues. Thus, the environmental protection problems are highlighted and the environmental issues are emerged. Given to the above reasons, an appropriate information technology tool, such as the growing popular social network system (e.g., virtual community, VC), can facilitate public education and engagement on applications of the existed problems effectively. Particularly, exploring the related involvement behavior of VC member engagement becomes an interesting and meaningful topic. Nevertheless, the member engagement process comprises interrelated sub-process reflecting members interactive experience within virtual communities, and value co-creation model among community participants. To address the top-focused ecotourism virtual communities, this study presents an application of using hybrid expert-based DEMATEL models based on multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) tools to deeply investigate the complex multidimensional and dynamic nature of member engagement. Research findings can help providing insightful management implications and suggestions on the viral marketing of ecotourism protection concerns to both practitioners and academicians.
