Information

Received the degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in educational sciences and philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Pedagogy, Autonomous University of Madrid, with more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. He teaches at the Faculty of Educational Sciences and at the Postgraduate School. He is the director of the University Master's Degree in ICT in education of Autonomous University of Madrid. He has also carried out teaching and research work at Complutense University of Madrid, Lasalle University of Madrid and Comillas Univesity. His research activity has been essentially applied, based on the inclusion of ICTs in schools and teacher training with technological resources through active learning methodologies, digital multimedia resources and lifelong learning. He has authored several books, chapters, and articles in international scientific journals related to above mentioned lines. He was the Coordinator of different educational innovation projects related to mobile learning, gamification, social learning or digital educational resources, and the Director of more than 20 Doctoral Theses. He is the coordinator of the DEI research group (Digital Education and Innovation) and has held university management positions, such as vice-dean of innovation, delegate of the rector for networked teaching, or director of technologies in education.
