Dr. Mominul Ahsan is currently working as an associate lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, University of York, UK. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Engineering at Manchester Met University before joining the University of York. He completed his Ph.D. in 2019 at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Greenwich, London, UK. Dr. Ahsan obtained his MEng degree (research) from the Faculty of Engineering and Computing at Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, in 2014 and a B.Sc. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the State University of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2008. His research interests include prognostics, data analytics, machine learning, reliability, power electronics, wireless communication, and wearable technology. Dr. Ahsan is currently a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK, an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), UK, and an associate member of the Bangladesh Computer Society. He is also a recipient of an MEng stipend from Dublin City University in 2010, a Ph.D. VC scholarship from the University of Greenwich in 2014, and an Excellent Poster Award at the IEEE International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2017.
