Mirzoeva Natalia Yurievna – head of the Radiation and Chemical Biology Department (RChBD) since 01.12.2015, as well leader scientist of the RChBD of the A.O. Kovalevsky Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas of RAS (IBSS) 1989 Graduated from the Simferopol State University, Diploma in Biology (Hydrobiology); 2008 - Ph.D. the A.O. Kovalevsky Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas. The main directions of the scientific research are: ecological capacity of the marine environment, nuclear geochronology of aquatic ecosystems, development of radio tracer methods, study of biogeochemical factors of concentration, distribution and migration of long-lived artificial radionuclides in ecosystems of water bodies with different salinity of the environment, control of dose loads received by hydrobionts from 90Sr and 137Cs ionizing radiation, equidosimetry. List of scientific publications N.Yu. Mirzoeva includes 196 works, including 1 author's and 9 collective monographs, 73 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Member of the Hydrobiological Society at the Russian Academy of Sciences (Crimean Regional Branch) since 2015; Member of the Academic Council of the FRC of the IBSS; Member of the International Society for the Exploration of Salt Lakes, since 2017. Awards of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation: Medal "For irreproachable work and distinction" III degree; Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
