1989 Graduated from the Simferopol State University, Diploma in Biology (Hydrobiology);
2008 - Ph.D. the A.O. Kovalevsky Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas.
The main directions of the scientific research are: ecological capacity of the marine environment, nuclear geochronology of aquatic ecosystems, development of radio tracer methods, study of biogeochemical factors of concentration, distribution and migration of long-lived artificial radionuclides in ecosystems of water bodies with different salinity of the environment, control of dose loads received by hydrobionts from 90Sr and 137Cs ionizing radiation, equidosimetry.

Member of the Hydrobiological Society at the Russian Academy of Sciences (Crimean Regional Branch) since 2015;
