Changsen Zhao received a PhD degree in natural geography from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He is currently an associate professor at the College of Water Sciences, BNU, Beijing, China. His current research interests mainly include ecohydrological process modelling using remotely sensed data. More recently, he has focused on the development of runoff and nonpoint source pollutant retrieval models, including modelling flow velocity and water depth as well as the tempo-spatial distribution of nonpoint source pollutants. He serves as a reviewer for Global Change Biology, Water Research, Journal of Hydrology, Science of the Total Environment, etc.
