Enrique Jiménez-Rodríguez is a Senior Lecturer of Financial Economics and Director of the MSc in Finance and Banking at Pablo de Olavide University of Seville. He is a PhD. in Finance. He began his career with a research grant in Economics from the Ramón Areces Foundation. He has also worked at the Andalusian Institute of Statistics. He is the author of numerous articles on financial matters, specializing in risk management and financial mathematics. He has been awarded the Banco Santander International Risk Prize, as well as the prize for the best Doctoral Thesis by the UCEIF Foundation and has won the 2013 and 2016 research award from the Foundation for Financial Studies and the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts. He belongs to the Risk Management group of the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research (SEIO), and has been a member of the Financial Management Association (FMA) and the Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN).
