My basic education is in Veterinary Sciences and I have done post graduate research studies in Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology. Throughout my career, I have actively engaged in research endeavours, having worked at interface of sustainable development and policy issues in fields of zoonosis preparedness, preclinical research, regulatory affairs, climate change, and public-health. I presently provide service as a Consultant (Toxicology). Over the years, I have been involved in projects that required the integration of diverse scientific disciplines, fostering collaboration between experts from various fields to achieve common research goals. My work involves me to actively contribute to R&D activities, manage project coordination, focus on skill development and training while partaking knowledge dissemination in the broader area of translational research. I believe in sustained scientific efforts to communicate research to general masses and find innovative solutions to some of our societal problems in agriculture and animal sciences.
