Dr. Hemraj Bhattarai

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), specializing in air quality analysis, atmospheric chemistry, and the impacts of climate and land use changes. I hold a Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from CUHK and an M.Sc. in Physical Geography from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. My research employs ground-based, modeling, and satellite data to assess air quality and its multifaceted effects on health and ecosystems. My work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship and the Belt and Road Scholarship. I have published extensively, contributing to journals such as Environmental Science & Technology and Atmospheric Research.
