Prof. Hong-Hsu Yen received his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in 1990, and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1995 and Ph.D. degree in Information Management from National Taiwan University in 2001. He joined the faculty of the Department of Information Management at Shih Hsin University in 2001, where he is a professor now. He is awarded with “Outstanding Research Award” from Shih Hsin University at 2006, 2011, 2015 and 2020. He has published more than fifty international journal and conference papers. He holds two patents in Taiwan. His research interests include nanoscale sensor networks, healthcare engineering, AI, wireless sensor networks, network optimization, performance evaluation and QoS routing. He is a lead guest editor for “International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks”: Special Issue on Recent Advances in Wireless Visual Sensor Networks, 2014. He is a lead guest editor for “Sensors": Special Issue on Convergence of Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks: Opportunities and Solutions, 2023.
