Since 2015 The University of Cadiz has been in close collaboration with the “Vasile Alecsandri” University of Bacău, Romania; in the development of exchange programs and co-direction of doctoral theses in environmental acoustics. I have been a visiting professor since then in their Master's in Environmental Engineering. For this work and my participation, the TAIEX programs in Romania (since 2007) awarded me the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, in 2018,.
