Dr. Shawon Rahman

Dr. Shawon S. M. Rahman is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Hawaiʻi Hilo (UH Hilo). Dr. Rahman’s research interests include Cybersecurity, Information Assurance and security, STEM Outreach, Digital Forensics, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things Security, Web Accessibility, Robotics, Software Testing and Quality Assurance. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles and mentored numerous students and at least 50 have published their first peer-reviewed publication co-authoring with him. He is a member of many professional organizations including IEEE, ACM, CSTA, ASEE, ASQ, ISCA, and ISACA.
