I am Dr. C.S. Opuwari (Ph.D.), is a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. I obtained my BSc (Hons) in Human Anatomy at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in 2005, and my MSc and Ph.D. in Medical Bioscience, at the University of the Western Cape, in 2010 and 2013, respectively. My doctoral research focussed on the effect of tea and herbal infusions on mammalian reproduction and fertility. I have been actively involved in male reproductive function research since 2002. My research interest is in the effects of traditional plants on male reproductive functions, the impact of medicinal plants on oxidative stress, and how they affect male fertility and sperm functions.
