Digital disruption has been the most used and discussed topic in the last 6 years and has been a trending topic on the Google trends, only second to the remote working searched on Google search engines. Most business continuities have been put at risk due to significant reasons like COVID-19, Social distancing norms, and technology disruption to name a few. Businesses especially in UAE higher education sector need to take a holistic view that considers potential threats to an organization and look at providing a resilience framework to respond effectively to safeguard the key stakeholder’s interests. The research study looks at combining the business continuity maturity model and the digital disruption models and suggests a framework that business managers and owners can consider mitigating the risks and enhancing the resilience of their organization for the future. The organization might be able to enhance its brand value and look at creating more value in its services. This study can help managers and top management look at the factors that can improve performance after the disruption. The participants can be trained to work during disruption to mitigate the risk or crisis, reducing major losses in business.

The current paper focuses on the potential of using Blockchain Technology (BCT) in the Higher Education Domain and explores its usefulness in solving Higher Education issues. This research discusses the Blockchain features, challenges and its benefits in education, followed by review of some current Blockchain Higher Education applications. This paper reviews the Blockchain Technology (BCT) and its implementation in Higher Education. This research used a quantitative methodology and stratified clustered simple random sampling approach. Data has been gathered through an online survey instrument and the partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) technique applied to 383 responses. Blockchain technology has its unique features, benefits that can solve Education system requirements, and its successful implementation issues discussed. An effort made to gather enough consensus to build future implementation. The integrated model of Blockchain features matched to the needs of the Education System by agreement of the experts (discussions), and a survey conducted involving the students, teachers, educationists, Blockchain experts, and professionals, is tested and validated by SEM using PLS.

Integrating social media into telemedicine has reshaped the landscape of patient-doctor interactions, enhancing accessibility, engagement, and the dissemination of medical information. This research aims to explore the influence of social media in facilitating online patient-doctor consultations, particularly focusing on how social media tools and platforms contribute to patient awareness, trust-building, and decision-making processes. The research is based on the conceptual model developed using the integrated Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Social Cognitive Theory (SCT). Through a qualitative approach involving 15 in-depth interviews with healthcare professionals and patients actively engaged in telemedicine, this study seeks to uncover how social media impacts the quality and outcomes of virtual medical consultations. The findings are expected to provide insights into the benefits, challenges, and potential strategies for optimizing social media's role in telemedicine.

The purpose of this paper is to portray an integrated Education Model which proposes to be student-centric and using technologies like Blockchain technology which can offer security, authenticity, immutability, longevity, data, information, decentralization, no intermediator, reliability, and data integrity. Education Blockchain 4.0 is a part of the Industrial revolution 4.0 which is disrupting the education sector. Blockchain technology is in focus in the last decade amongst users, researchers and practitioners. Despite the growing interest in Blockchain technology, the education sector has not seen much progress in terms of applications. This system uses the research of blockchain-based educational applications. The world is accelerating with IoT and AI. Industry revolution 4.0 is becoming a mandatory standard and necessity in globalization and a logical outcome is Education Blockchain 4.0. It is the need in the educational system due to the disruption initiated by technologies. Quantitative Methodology will be used to prove the conceptual model that proves the relationship between various constructs using PLS-SEM, which statistically can prove these relationships. Smart Blockchain System in education will make everything digital, easily storable, immutable, secured, longevity, easy access, cost-effective, User friendly and integrable to other technologies. The proposed Education Blockchain 4.0 smart system is poised to achieve these objectives across domains and to integrate further technologies making it the most suitable choice for these applications, which is the major contribution of this study. Also, the integration of the system theory of the new student centric education ecosystem, the disruption theory for Blockchain technology in education and the stakeholder theory applied to the education. Education Blockchain 4.0 will be useful for educational organizations to be cost-effective, achieve volumes of scale by integrating various functionalities, sectors. It will be useful for making policy decisions to enhance revenue, profitability and deliver stakeholder satisfaction.
