To address the safety displacement-constrained control problem of maglev trains during operation, this study applied the radial-based neural network control displacement-constrained method to maglev trains based on the multi-mass-point model, and strictly limited the output of maglev train displacement and speed values to keep the overshoot within a given range. Firstly, the dynamics and kinematics of the maglev train were modeled from the perspective of multi-mass modeling. Secondly, the basic structure of the radial-based neural network was determined according to the displacement-limited constraints of the maglev train during operation, and the stability was proven by applying the control rate and output-limited priming according to the limitations. Finally, based on the displacement-limited operation control of maglev trains, the system of the radial-based neural network was simulated. The simulation results show that this method can make the displacement and velocity signals of the maglev train converge to the command signals, the target convergence position is reached rapidly, and the deviation can be kept within a stable range so that the displacement and velocity signals of the maglev train can be limited to the desired safety constraints, which can guarantee the stability and safety of the maglev transportation system in the operation process.

With the increasing complexity of software, the software reliability and safety have already become a more important issue, especially for the safety-critical systems. So the software safety modeling and calculation method play an important role in ensuring the software reliability and safety. In this context, the quantitative analysis and assessment becomes very important, but the traditional approach often suffers from immature of safety modeling and index calculation method. This paper proposes a method on the software safety modeling, as well as the calculation method to analyze software safety at system level, module level and function unit level. As a case study, the paper studies more detail on the software safety analysis and the calculation to the quantitative indicators for the typical 2 out of 3 system by using the Markov model.

Through redundant fault-tolerant technologies, this study aimed to enhance reliability in the aspects of data collection and processing for train positioning systems systematically. We conduct safety analysis of the relative positioning module and absolute positioning module in high-speed maglev train positioning systems via the THR and SIL safety analysis methods. The study obtains the SIL level of each module and analyzes the event risks. The corresponding improvements are proposed to reduce the hazard degree and dangerous possibilities of risky events.

As an effective means of solution to traffic congestion, the modern urban transit has attracted worldwide attention. The signal control system, the core parts of the urban transit, is a typical safety critical system which ensures the safe operation and improves the transport efficiency. Therefore, the safety of the system must be analyzed during the development, production, and evaluation processes. Due to the system itself, operating environment, staff operation and other factors, the different failure modes which impact the system reliability and safety will occur during operating of the signal system. According to the system functionalities and system structures, the failure reasons can be analyzed layer by layer to improve the system design and performance. This paper suggests a safety analyze method for the signal system on the basis of the technical features using fault tree methods, and gives the proposals to improve system design.

Suspension controller is the core device of suspension system of the medium and low speed maglev vehicle, its reliability directly affects the stability, reliability and safety operation of the whole medium and low speed maglev train. Reliability analysis is of great theoretical and practical value for improving the performance of the suspension controller. Taking Hunan Changsha maglev express as an application case, based on the mechanism and functional structure of the suspension controller, the reliability of the suspension controller is analyzed and studied. According to the Chinese standard GJB/Z 299C, the reliability prediction handbook for electronic equipment, the reliability of the suspension controller is calculated and analyzed by synthesizing the stress analysis method, the component counting method and the RBD reliability block diagram method. The reliability weak points of the suspension controller are analyzed, and the design optimization proposal is suggested to improve the suspension controller reliability. Background: Medium and low speed maglev traffic has gained wide attention and engineering application in China. It is very necessary to study the reliability of the medium and low speed maglev train. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to carry out reliability research on the levitation control system of medium low speed maglev train. Methods: The stress analysis method, component counting method and RBD reliability block diagram method are used to calculate and analyze the reliability of the suspension controller. Results: The reliability quantitative analysis results of the suspension controller are analyzed, and the reliability weakness of the suspension controller is analyzed and studied. A design optimization proposal to improve the reliability of the suspension controller is proposed. Conclusion: Through the reliability prediction analysis of the suspension controller, the reliability and weakness of the suspension controller can be determined, which provides theoretical guidance for the improvement of the design scheme and the performance optimization of the maglev train suspension controller.
