Esha is working as a Research Associate in the Department of Component Development with a focus on fatigue and lifetime prediction at Leibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe (Institute of Composite Material) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. She has been in the field of component development since 2014. She received her Bachelor degree in Technology (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from India in 2013 and an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering with a core specialization in composite material from Singapore and Germany in 2018. Her research interest is to promote the use of unconventional composite material, especially fibre-reinforced thermoplastics for space application. Her contribution has also rewarded by Space for Sustainability Award 2021 under special mention of jury by European Space Agency also.
