Nick J. Fox is professor of sociology at the University of Huddersfield.  Recent work using new materialist and posthuman approaches addresses political economy, social disadvantage, gender-related violence, climate change, sustainable development, commerical determinants of health and materialist research methodology. He is the author of many papers and five books, including (with Pam Alldred) Sociology and the New Materialism (Sage, 2017).
