My name is Mariángela Napoli. I have a scholarship for Ph.D studies from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET) of Argentina, based at the Institute for Research in Educational Sciences (IICE) of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). I am a Professor and a Bachelor of Literature also from the University of Buenos Aires, and I am starting my career as a researcher. My topics are knowledge production in Humanities, focusing on the concept of knowedge mobilization as a away of itervention in the present.
I have tried to portray study objectives that focus on a reflection proposal about the place of scientific knowledge production in higher education and in the academic-scientific complex. This issue has been addressed by numerous international and regional intellectuals with the interest of developing instances of critical thinking about how to develop a public policy such as higher and scientific education, understanding the importance of Social and Human Sciences in this.
Currently, I am working with a research team led by Ph.D Judith Naidorf (Independent Researcher at CONICET-IICE) whose research projects (UBACyT, PICT, PIP) have been addressing, for more than 20 years, the study of university and scientific policies in Argentina and Latin America, based on the relationship with their environments and with the proposal of a review of the assumptions of the academic culture that, today, persists internacionally.
