Dr. Abdelkader Djelloul is a research director at the research center in semiconductor technology for energy (CRTSE), Algiers, Algeria. He obtained his Magister degree in physics in 2011 and his Ph.D. in physics in 2017 from the University of Science and Technology of Oran Mohamed Boudiaf (USTO-MB), Algeria, followed by his habilitation to supervise research (HDR) in 2018. His research interests include functional oxide thin films, nanomaterials, semiconductor technology, materials characterization, thin-film photovoltaics, optoelectronic devices, and gas sensors. His research focuses on the synthesis, processing, and characterization of oxide and chalcogenide thin films, particularly using sol–gel-based deposition techniques. He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications and has contributed to the international research community as a Guest Editor, editorial board member, and peer reviewer. He also serves on scientific and institutional committees and contributes to the evaluation of research projects and academic work.
