I am a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Nantong University,China. I earned my Ph.D. from the State Key Laboratory of Infrared Physics, Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, CAS. My career includes research at the Southwest Institute of Technical Physics, the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, and the University of Manitoba. Since 2011, I have held permanent faculty positions at Nantong University’s Key Laboratory of ASIC Design.
My research centers on nanotechnology, low-dimensional materials, and optoelectronic devices. I focus on synthesizing 2D layered materials and van der Waals heterostructures to develop broadband photodetectors spanning infrared to terahertz frequencies. I explore mechanisms like Fowler-Nordheim tunneling and ferroelectric localized field enhancement to achieve high-sensitivity sensing. My work includes nanoscale innovations like InAs-based FinFETs and nanowire sensors to enhance device sensitivity and thermal reliability. I also pioneer AI integration in semiconductor engineering to optimize GaN and SiC power electronics.
I have led numerous programs, including NSFC General and Young Scientists funds. My scholarly work is documented in over 80 papers in journals such as Applied Physics Letters, IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, Small and Advanced Electronic Materials. I also hold 30 granted patents from 50 filings. I strive to bridge fundamental low-dimensional physics with practical, high-performance electronic systems.
