Prof. Shah Nawaz Burokur is an Associate Professor at Université Paris Nanterre, France. He completed his PhD studies in Microwave Engineering at the Université de Nantes (France) and was awarded the Young Scientist Award, presented by the Union Radio-Scientifique Internationale (URSI) Commission B, in 2005. He has led several projects in the areas of metamaterials/metasurfaces, antennas, and absorbers, and holds four patents on metamaterial/metasurface-based devices. His research interests include periodic structures, complex media, metamaterials, metasurfaces, and metagratings in the analysis of planar and conformal systems, antennas, sensors, vortex waves, and holographic imaging.
