Dr. Maomao Zhang is a Tenure-Track Professor at Yangtze University (primary affiliation; formal personnel rank: Associate Professor). He also holds an affiliated appointment as Research Fellow at the National Institute of Governance, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research interests encompass land use and management, urban climate and planning, sustainable urban–rural development, and environmental economics. To date, he has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles in SCI/SSCI journals, including Sustainable Cities and Society, Habitat International, Applied Energy, iScience, Cell Reports Sustainability, Energy and Buildings, Ecological Indicators, Process Safety and Environmental Protection, Journal of Environmental Management, Urban Climate, Land Degradation & Development, Environment, Development and Sustainability, and Journal for Nature Conservation. He regularly serves as an anonymous referee for journals such as Nature Cities, Cell Reports Sustainability, Cities, Sustainable Cities and Society, Geography and Sustainability, iScience, Applied Geography, Building and Environment, Sustainable Development, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, Journal of Environmental Management, Urban Climate, and Ecological Indicators.
