Mariana Floria is a Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Grigore T. Popa, Iași, Romania, senior consultant in internal medicine, and clinical cardiologist at Emergency Clinical Hospital "Sf. Spiridon" Iasi, Romania. Prof. Dr. Mariana Floria is member of the European Society of Cardiology since 2014. She is FESC since 2015. She made a fellowship in electrophysiology and echocardiography in Belgium and she has EACVI certification in transthoracic echocardiography since 2015. She has a particular interest in cardiac rhythm disorders (especially atrial fibrillation) and cardiovascular imaging (especially echocardiography). The main research work is related to arrhythmias (mainly atrial fibrillation) and autonomic imbalance as pathophysiologic mechanism in atrial fibrillation.
