This paper presents an analysis of the effects of magnetohydrodynamic force and buoyancy on convective heat and mass transfer flow past a moving vertical porous plate in the presence of thermal radiation and chemical reaction. The governing partial differential equations are reduced to a system of self-similar equations using the similarity transformations. The resultant equations are then solved numerically using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method along with the shooting technique. The results are obtained for the velocity, temperature, concentration, skin-friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number. The effects of various parameters on flow variables are illustrated graphically, and the physical aspects of the problem are discussed.

The impact of heat and mass transfer effects on an MHD flow past an inclined porous plate in the presence of a chemical reaction is investigated in this study. An effort has been made to explain the Soret effect and the influence of an angle of inclination on the flow field, in the presence of the heat source, chemical reaction and thermal radiation. The momentum, energy and concentration equations are derived as coupled second order partial differential equations. The model is non-dimensionalized and shown to be controlled by a number of dimensionless parameters. The resulting dimensionless partial differential equations can be solved by using a closed analytical method. Numerical results for pertaining parameters, such as the Soret number (Sr), Grashof number (Gr) for heat and mass transfer, the Schmidt number (Sc), Prandtl number (Pr), chemical reaction parameter (Kr), permeability parameter (K), magnetic parameter (M), skin friction (τ), Nusselt number (Nu) and Sherwood number (Sh) on the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are presented graphically and discussed qualitatively.

In this paper, we discuss the Soret and Dufour effects on an MHD micropolar fluid flow over a linearly stretching sheet, through a non-Darcy porous medium, where stretching velocity of the sheet varies linearly with distance from the origin, and, temperature and concentration vary non-linearly in the boundary layer region. By suitable similarity transformations, the governing boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations. These equations are solved by numerical computations with bvp4c along with the shooting technique method. The effects of the magnetic parameter, Soret number and Dufour number on velocity profiles, microrotation profile, heat transfer, and concentration, skin-friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are computed, discussed and analysed numerically and presented through tables and graphs.

In this analysis, the magnetohydrodynamic flow of a Casson fluid over a permeable stretching sheet in the presence of mass transfer is studied. Using similarity transformations, the governing equations are converted to ordinary differential equations and then solved through MATHEMATICA. The skin friction coefficient and local Sherwood number are analyzed through numerical values for various parameters of interest. The velocity and concentration profiles are illustrated for several pertinent flow parameters. We observed that the Casson parameter and Hartman number have similar effects on the velocity in a qualitative sense. We further analyzed that the concentration profile decreases rapidly in comparison to the fluid velocity when we increased the values of the suction parameter.
This study uncovered a numerical simulation of the Williamson hybrid nanofluid's MHD on “heat and mass transfer flow” over a porous stretched sheet. The model made use of Cattaneo-Christov heat and mass fluxes. The situation's underlying physics is modelled using governing equations. Using an appropriate similarity transformation, these equations were transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations. Methodology/Approach: MATLAB software along with BVC4C tool is used to find the numerical solution of the problem. The study's findings show that while boosting the mass relaxation flux increases concentration distributions, doing so also increases temperature distributions. Thermal radiation, heat generation, and an additional value to improve temperature and velocity distributions, the Eckert number was measured. Major findings: Higher magnetic field values are shown to result in an increase in the velocity distribution because of the applied electromagnetic force. Additionally, a rise in the thermal radiation parameter is seen to broaden the distributions of velocity and temperature. Astrophysics, geophysics, biological sciences, and biomedical engineering are all helpful to this study. The findings of this study are generally well supported by the literature.
