Unfortunately, I am not very satisfied with the article recently published in Sports about the analysis of Paralympic powerlifters.

We believe that the methods used are quite poor and do not correspond to the reality presented in the article. A thermal camera has a thermal sensitivity of 70mk and a high margin of error, and the way ROIs are analyzed with this camera does not involve radiometric data. Furthermore, it doesn't provide temperature data for analysis; instead, it has to be done qualitatively using software, which introduces a significant bias.

I would really like to be able to send a letter to the editor to discuss all these arguments that make the research have a very poor methodology.
