I believe the concepts and practices about nature conservation need update with more clear focus on equity and inclusion in order to be effective.

After 40+ years of practice, MSc and PhD degrees and now in my 4th year of PostDoc fellowship, I was able to bring togetheer dozens (100+) experts from academia, practical protected and conserved areas (PCAs) managment and leadership, and from living experiences in relation to PCAs, in my PostDoc programme, to consider those experiences, studies and management practices, to debate with many others interested persons (in several workshops, lectures, presentations, papers etc., several of them focusing in part of the whole subject) and present the related reflections, thinking and a proposal in the paper here refered to (https://doi.org/10.3390/su152416609).

I would love to read your reactions, critics and other considerations.

Best regards, cCM
