Dr. Meftah Hrairi received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University, Canada, in 1999. He possesses a blend of industrial (at Gillani Inc. and i2 Technologies Inc., both in Dallas, Texas, USA, and at Precitech Inc. Quebec, Canada), administrative, and academic experience (Department of Mechanical Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)). His areas of research include computational mechanics, structural active and passive repair, advanced manufacturing processes, and energy systems and structural health monitoring.
