Bi Yonghong, Ph.D., is a researcher and doctoral supervisor. They are director of the Xiangxi River water quality monitoring station of key tributaries of the Three Gorges Ecological and Environmental Monitoring System, executive deputy director of the Three Gorges Reservoir Ecosystem Test Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, executive director of the Chinese Society of Phycology, and executive director of the lake branch of the Chinese Society for Oceanology and Limnology. Their research interests cover water ecology, algae physiology and ecology, and water pollution remediation. Bi Yonghong has undertaken more than 30 scientific research tasks, published more than 100 research papers, including more than 50 SCI papers, and obtained 10 nationally authorized invention patents.
