Jantana Praiboon currently works as an assistant professor in the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated with a PhD in biotechnology from the Faculty of Agro-industry at Kasesart University in 2008. She has been working as a lecturer at Kasetsart University since 2008. Her research interests are algal utilization, seaweed polysaccharide, algal natural products, and micro-algal culturing techniques She has been a council member of the Asia-Pacific Society for Applied Phycology (APSAP) from November 2017 to present times.
