Monika Kordowska-Wiater, Dr Hab., is a scientist at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland, in the Faculty of Food Sciences and Biotechnology, Department of Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Human Nutrition. My education background is a PhD in biology (2000) and habilitated doctor in food technology and nutrition (2019). I’m a scientist interested in food biotechnology and microbiology. The subjects of my studies are various yeasts in the context of probiotics, biocontrol, fermentation, and production of sweeteners. I have long-term experience in teaching students. I have published more than 100 publications and 3 patents. I'm a participant of the Polish Society of Microbiology and the Polish Society of Food Technologists.
