Pamela Chiñas Sánchez received an Engineering degree in 2008 in Mechatronics from Universidad Politécnica de Zacatecas—Zacatecas, México. She obtained a Science master’s degree in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing from Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN, Saltillo, Coahuila, México, in 2011. In 2015 she received a PhD in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing in the same institute. She is currently a full-time Research Professor at the Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo and SNI member. Her interest areas are neural networks in robotics and manufacturing, fuzzy logic, artificial intelligence, quality control and systems control, automation, and advanced manufacturing. She is a member of Laboratorio de Manufactura Inteligente in connection with CINVESTAV.
