Parveen Sihag is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Chandigarh University in Mohali, Punjab. In 2010, he received his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Kurukshetra University in Kurukshetra, India. He also earned an M.Tech. and a Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Kurukshetra, India, in 2013 and 2019, respectively. Infiltration processes, sediment extractors, mathematical modelling, linear/nonlinear regression analysis-based modelling, artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systems, support vector machine, Gaussian process, tree- and forest-based algorithms, hydrology, hydraulic structures, and so on are among his research interests. He has over 100 publications to his credit.
