Dr. Filipa R. Pinto is a PhD Researcher in the MARE—Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre/ARNET—Aquatic Research Network, School of Tourism and Maritime Technology, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Peniche, Portugal. She obtained her master’s degree in Food Engineering and completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2017 at ULisboa-ISA. Dr. Pinto’s research interests are in the area of Food Innovation, exploring the potential of Marine Resources (new products, packaging, shelf-life) and in macroalgae, particularly in the study of their bioactive potential applied to the food sector and oxidative stress induced by abiotic factors.
