Alejandro E. Relling is an Associate Professor at the Department of Animal Sciences, The Ohio State University, Wooster, OH, USA. He received his DVM (Cum Laude) from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 1998, earned his MSc and PhD from The Ohio State University in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He is a member of the American Society of Animal Science, the American Dairy Science Association, and the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists. His main research areas include ruminant (sheep, beef, and dairy) nutrition and digestive and metabolic physiology and endocrinology. His research is focused on understanding the biological mechanisms that regulate feed efficiency, adipose tissue metabolism, and their impact on beef, sheep, and dairy production.
