Diana Camelia Nuță graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Carol Davila University in 1997. In 2006, she became a Senior Pharmacist and obtained a PhD in Pharmacy. Since 1998, she has continued her academic career at Carol Davila University in the Faculty of Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, where she has held the position of Professor since 2021. She is the author/co-author of 9 specialized books and over 175 published studies (54 of which are Web of Science Core Collection publications), with over 120 being presented at national and international scientific events. She has participated in 12 national and international research projects. She has co-authored 3 patent applications and realized over 75 verified peer reviews in important scientific journals. Her academic awards include the Medicine Award at Euroinvent 2020 (12th Edition, Iasi, Romania), the title of best researcher (offered by the College of Pharmacists from Romania) in 2020, and an award from the National Congress of Pharmacy, Iaşi, in 2014, in their Design of Bioactive Substances section. Her most important scientific contributions are closely related to the field of synthesis, drug design, and the characterization of new molecules with biological activities (antimicrobial, antibiofilm, antipsychotic, etc.).
