Biography
Luca Bernardi is currently an associate professor at the University of Bologna, Italy, where he received his MSc in Industrial Chemistry in 2000 and PhD in 2004 (with Prof. A. Ricci). He was a post-doc in Aarhus, DK (2004 and 2006, with Prof. K. A. Jørgensen) and a visiting scientist in Groningen, NL (2011, with Prof. B. L. F. Feringa). His research activities mainly focus on enantioselective organocatalysis and on the valorization of biopolymers from marine sources.
