James Ronald Vera Rozo is a mechanical engineer from the Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia, with a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Guanajuato (Mexico) specializing in thermal fluids. He developed a predoctoral stay in the laboratories of the BIOSAHE group of the University of Córdoba in Spain. And currently he is a third-year doctoral student in mechanical engineering at the University of Guanajuato, and a professor at the University of Pamplona in Colombia. His lines of research are the generation of alternative fuels from various raw materials by applying pyrolysis and obtaining biodiesel by unconventional methods, specifically intensifying some chemical reactions with the application of cavitation.
