Prof. Jilong Liu received his PhD degree from the College of Life Sciences at Northeast Agricultural University, China in 2011. He began his academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Biology at Shantou University from 2011 to 2013, before moving to the College of Veterinary Medicine, South China Agricultural University, where he served as a Lecturer from 2013 to 2018. Since 2018, he has been a Young Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, South China Agricultural University. His research topics mainly include the molecular mechanisms underlying embryo implantation into the uterus, machine learning approaches, big data mining, the evolution of embryo implantation, database construction for reproductive biology and reproduction-related diseases.
