Biography
Kateřina Macáková, PhD. is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University. She gained her PhD. in 2011 at the same institution. The main research interests are natural compounds, transition metals, antioxidants, platelet aggregation. She was awarded Danone young scientist award for the best publication in the field of nutrition 2012, Czech Republic.
