Dr. Alberto Leardini is the Director of the Laboratory of Movement Analysis and Functional Evaluation of Prosthesis at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, Bologna. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna and a Doctorate in Orthopaedic Engineering at the University of Oxford. His research interests include human motion capture, definition and standardization of biomechanical techniques, human joint modelling, prosthesis design, custom-made implants for Orthopaedics, etc.
